Tour Eiffel

The Tour Eiffel (or Eiffel Tower) is a rather hard structure to miss while traveling inside of Paris. Standing high about the Seine River, this is one tower that is worth a few moments of your time.

Some Parisians hate the Eiffel Tower, while others marvel at its height. Whether you adore it or lathe it, this tower is interesting to look at while in Paris. You don’t need to book any kind of official tour in order to see the Tour Eiffel, but you do need to bring plenty of Euros with you on your way to the structure. The truth behind this large tower is that you will have to pay an extra fee for every level that you want to visit. Cheap it isn’t, but the tower is just something that all must see when visiting Paris for the first time.

Then again, you don’t really need to go inside of the monstrosity to see it. Instead, you can opt for a fine river boat cruise along the Seine at night. This way, you can see the tower all lighted up in its glory without actually paying to go inside. And, the best part is that the tower actually looks a lot better when it is viewed from the river. If you do decide to go into the tower itself, make sure that you are not trapped into paying for a tour. Unless you have pre-booked an all-inclusive Paris tour, there is no need to follow a guide through the tower itself.

In fact, most of Paris is best explored on your own without any kind of guide. All of the famous sites inside of this city contain maps, charts, and plenty of security officials that can help you out. The only reason why you may want to hire a guide is to make sure that you see all of the sites that you want to see. Also, a guided tour might include a spacious room for a few nights, which is hard to find inside the city of lights. Paris is a beautiful city all on its own, but the Tour Eiffel just makes the landscape what it is today.

Now that you know all about this famous landmark you can choose to go inside of it…or just admire it from the distance. Either way, you just can’t miss this large tower no matter where you are in Paris.

The French call it the Tour Eiffel, tourists call it the Eiffel Tower, and you can call it your own personal Parisian memory once you view it in its entire splendor.
